Ich würde mich selbst beschreiben als

I am a professional gentleman - several careers behind me. Somewhat retired and looking forward to the freedom of travel and time. More concerts and theatre for sure! - the ballgame and the Ball - and maybe a fantasy or two. I enjoy those who can carry a meaningful conversation. My sense of humour can be a bit dry - but so is a fine wine! My music of choice is soft jazz but "when in Rome ....... ". I am often percieved to be firm in most matters - the things I know, the way I touch and how I speak - but at the same time, quite soft, coaxable, and gentle - never posessive and I "play well with others".
I am a caregiver in my marital situation .... no regrets - no desire to change - but feeling the need for more than sunsets for one! We all have a reason for being here.
PS: I do travel regularly throughout Southern Ontario.

There is no "ideal" first date ... everyone and every situation is different. But the one thing it should be is open ended. If coffee feels like lunch and that feels like dinner ... and a movie ... the you should be able to do that. No clock! I know we all have an "escape hatch" should we need ... sobeit ... but the reason for the date was to spend time together.

I love to shop ... most anything. Go to the market and then spend a day of creative indulgence. Dress to the 9's for the theatre. Hop a plane (or train) and go to another city for dinner ... or a date. I'm one of those rare individuals who can find (or make) fun in most anything I do.
