My lover of 30 years, recently died, and here I am ready to start taking life to the next level: A serious, committed, relationship.
So, IF your in no rush and willing to build a solid friendship foundation, lets talk at length first, before we consider any other options.
As I get further and further past my lovers death, I become more refined in what and who I am; as well as the woman I want to be with me, until death do us part. So, I have to get this out now, before you go thinking I am someone, I am not.
Please understand I was born and raised a New Yorker, first and foremost; which means I have an East Coast Mentality, which is very different from here, in Indiana. (aka I have a tendency to move quickly. LOL!So IF your not ready, don't waste my time by writing to me.)
I'm ONLY looking for an uncommon woman, who possess: assertiveness, self-confidence, independent, is emotionally and financially secure, non-clingy & non-jealous, agnostic, non tobacco product user, who enjoy hugging, holding hands, open mouth kissing n touching and is, in and about the same physically shape and hight as me.
I was just thinking about that word, "Romantic" and I have to say, that is not me!
I realize that IF your a hopeless romantic or wants a man to wait on you, we are both looking for someone that is elusive. The only difference is, men will tell you what you want to hear, just to have sex with you.
I am just a human being that treats you as one and expects the same in return; an equal.
If you want a knight in shinning armor, flowers on Valentine's Day, your birthday or etc., I’m NOT that person. Just block me.
The government or organized religion has no right to tell me what to do on a certain day. I’m not a sheep being let to the slaughter. I do what I want to do, when I want to do it. That is how I have lived my life, and will do so until I die.
Imagine if I was a romantic, I would be a womanizer telling you lies?
Since I’m a widow, and my lover and I the lasted 30 years, what does that say? Either she was a fool, or realized what a complimentary asset I was w/o being a silly romantic who had to buy her love with gifts.
I also don’t deal well, with high maintenance women either. “Treat a lady like a lady.” I have two legs, and two arms, and i am not crippled, I can get up and get what I want. You're not my women servant; nor am I your man servant!
As a friend, you will have to pay your own way. I’m not rich, and I can’t afford to pay a woman to be my friend. I’m giver, but I will not be taken. Ask me for a date and I will pay my own way. Will you?
I'm presently nursing arthritis in my left hip. Walking and water exercises has helped.
I have all the material things I can ask for, and I like to have someone by my side; holding hands. NOT in front or behind me, next to me!
FYI: i'm not a team player, i question authority, and i live life on my terms.

Meeting for breakfast, talking, taking a short stroll, (arthritis in left hip, getting more-better with water exercises and soon walking at the Y).IF we clicked and we should, lets make it a day, and go to a noon movie, afterwards a light lunch, and then to your place: if you'll have me. we can stop off get some wine, cheese, and chicken, and do a dvd, cards and conservation, or lots of kissing.

I like board games, cards, watching TV, movies, driving topless (and NO you can not drive my car) shifting the gears, and just what you may like in life; after all we all are basically the same; humans.
